THE DOODLING DOO

Join Natasha and Theadora Meiser in the sky studio for the doodling doo!  Each class begins with a visual art inspired creative movement warm up that segues into a drawing circle.  The drawing circle explores chosen themes and mediums.  Spring session suggested tools are watercolor, crayon, pen and/or graphite.  Art historical references inform each class and are provided in a post class email.  Participants are  encouraged to share thoughts, ideas and artistic projects.

Early Spring Doodling Doo – Light & Life

Art exploration:

Still Lifes:  This class explores light and form, as well as the tools and subjects in our worlds.  Graphite and/or watercolor, crayon, pastel are suggested for this class.  

Movement exploration::

Modern-based creative movement with fundamental choreography concepts

Late Spring Doodling Doo – Growing in Plein Air

Painting/drawing outside (plein air) while inside 

Movement exploration::

Contemporary movement with nature inspired improvisation
